MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Sodium chloride, potassium citrate.
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Water, dextrose (25 g/L), citric acid, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, sucralose, acesulfame-potassium.
Additional ingredient(s) for Grape: Natural and artificial grape flavour, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Blue No. 1.
Additional ingredient(s) for Cherry: Natural and artificial cherry flavour, FD&C Red No. 40.
Additional ingredient(s) for Orange: Natural and artificial orange flavour, FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Red No. 40.
Additional ingredient(s) for Blue Raspberry: Natural and artificial blue raspberry flavour, FD&C Blue No. 1.
Directions for Use
- Eat frozen:
- Remove pops from carton and freeze before separating.
- With clean scissors, cut off top of sleeve. Push up freezer pop from bottom of sleeve.
- Drink: (DO NOT FREEZE)
- Remove pops from carton and separate carefully to prevent leaking.
- With clean scissors, cut off top of sleeve. Pour liquid into a glass.
- Make a slush:
- Mix equal quantities of liquid and frozen Pedialyte® freezer pops in a blender.
Quantity to Use
- Children < 2 years:
- Consult a physician before using Pedialyte®.
- Children 2-11 years:
- 50-100 mL (1-2 freezer pops) per kg of body weight per day.
- Offer as frequently as desired.
- 16-32 freezer pops may be needed per day.
- Continue as long as diarrhea or vomiting is present.
- Adolescents > 12 years and adults:
- Offer as frequently as desired.
- 16-32 freezer pops may be needed per day.
- Continue as long as diarrhea or vomiting is present.
NOTES: Pedialyte® freezer pops may temporarily colour the mouth. The colour of Pedialyte® freezer pops may change when frozen.
STORAGE: Store in freezer or at room temperature. Discard unused portion.
